Almost there

So we're down to 3 or 4 days before I can finally go down to Utah and see my girls!!
I know I've said this a time or two, but I really miss them. Thank you everyone that leaves me comments. I love to read what you have to say, and I promise I'll get better at responding. I went elk hunting one last time yesterday. And you should know by the placement of that text within the post, that I was skunked again. Didn't even see any yesterday. Did however see a decent little 4 piont buck, and a few does. Of course that hunt has been over for a month. I did find a dead bull elk though. He was a nice little 6x6, nothing real big. Of course I packed the head and horns out. They stink so bad. I would catch a wiff of the rotting smell as the wind would swirl on our way up the canyon, it would about make me puke. I know you really wanted to hear that. The EQ presidency spoke today in sacrement meeting. It went great for me. I got there and looked at the program and I was scheduled last. No big deal. Well in front of me were 2 youth speakers, my secratary, and my 2 councelors. With the EQ sing the rest hymn in the middle of it all. I was left with about 5 minutes or less. This was awsome. I really didn't give all my talk and still almost spoke for ten minutes. I always worry that I won't have enough material to take all the aloted time. Guess I had enough. The others speakers all did a wonderful job and we really had a good meeting. Anyway, going down to Mike's for dinner tonight. We are going to try and fry a turkey. I've had this turkey in the freezer since before we moved up here. It might be a little freezer burned, we'll see. Can't wait for turkey day!
